National Honor Society
National Honor Society (NHS) serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The National Honor Society strives to help students create enthusiasm for scholarship; to stimulate a desire to render service; to promote leadership; and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. Perry’s NHS chapter has been in existence since 1962 and in that time has had over a thousand members by our estimates.
If you have a 3.25 GPA or are getting close to that, are active in organizations within the school and/or the Perry Community, stay tuned for the application process to begin or express your interest by filling out the form here.
The Perry Chapter is managed by Ryan Burger – ryan.burger@g.perry.k12.ia.us. Membership meetings are held every other week during one of the Connections Class Periods in Mr Burger’s Room, Room 400 at the High School
